3D printed Fractal Silver Ring Collection by MANDELWERK 3D printed Fractal Silver Ring Collection by MANDELWERK
Comparing the patina on my 3D printed Sterling silver rings. The one in the middle came from the printer only a few days ago and is very shiny and feels a bit 'flat', the other, older ones have oxidized in a very nice way which emphasizes the details in a beautiful way.

That middle ring is also a new model, the "Sinus Version", take a closer look at Shapeways: shpws.me/qxCj  (The one to the far right is the same ring but from an earlier order so it has got that nice patina.

The bottom left ring is also a new release, the "Kaleidoscopic Iterated Function System Ring
" at Shapeways: shpws.me/qwh0

I am preparing the last bits to the release of a brand new, revolutionary fractal jewelry set.

I hope to release the first piece within a week or so, keep an eye on me! ;)

Cheers!

Fantastic! I saw these at the Shapeways store although they were made of plastic then. How much do these weigh? You are a genius  I hope you get rich making these awesome jewelry pieces

Thanks again Chris, now I have weighed two of them (on a simple scale, not 100% accurate I guess)

The big dragon ring top left: 58g  (2 ounce)

The big mandelbulbring top right: 42g  (1,5 ounce)

Amazing ;) I am holding 2oz of silver in my hand as I write this and those are some sturdy rings... They really are different(and heavy) Are you going to do any gold pieces?

A very refreshing set of designs my friend.

 They are heavy for sure.
Shapeways do not have gold as an option (good for my economy I guess... ;) But of course it is possible, the silver and bronze are moulded on Shapeways, so...

Heh, just read this old comment Chris, you know Shapeways now has gold (and platinum) as an option, crazy expensive though... :/
I have the smallest ring above for sale in gold now, do not expext anyone to buy it for that price though...

Like the design, specially the biggest one to the top left there. They do look to be unconfortable if you would wear em.

Keep up the good work though.
