When I arrived at this image I remembered, by proxy, the days we unknowingly were scrutinizing the inner parts of the planet in the search for the lost anti-Shangri-la, all "dressed up" in our yellow Thulin:s.
I like the overall content and representation of styles in this piece, but I would leave out the plane in the lower part. In my opinion, it does not bring any interesting to the image. The inclusion of one plane above is a nice detail, and follows the curves of the mandelbulb product nicely. Simplicity is key, especially with such a complex piece. Why is there text on the plane? Isit your own work, then consider removing it for artistic purposes. Personally I prefer more info on the final piece; render time etc. ohh, and nice blue background and decent use of DoF
