the Giant alien Generaator by MANDELWERK the Giant alien Generaator by MANDELWERK
This is just too much for me, found this yesterday evening, sitting in the garden sun, two different worlds...

These formulas really makes you feel that they hide designs from another world... first time I feel that mathematics really can beat the human fantasy... mindblowing...

Thank you everyone involved in this @ fractalforums, I think the things you all found is bigger than anyone of us can imagine!

(I went down "the basement" too, image later ;) )

That 3D navigator in Mandelbulb 3D really does give the feeling of exploring another world. So much fun!

Amazing image Johnn!:faint:
I know exactly what you mean about 'the box', and now with the ability to explore and render images from a potentially infinite number of hybrid combinations, we are really being spoiled for choice.
As you said, it's this thing of wanting to see what's 'round the corner' that makes it almost addictive! ;)

What was the mix for this btw? :plotting:

 Thank you very much Mark, really glad ran into this spot, the chance must be one on a googolplex or something.. :)

It is really crazy, and the infinit possibilities makes me curious of what other people, like you and buddhi, finds, it is great! ;)

I am still in the menger sponge / amazing box mix, never found my way out of it. :dizzy: :nerd:

yes, I agree.
I would like to learn how to do something similar using Subblue's script.
I imagine it would be similar to power mixing..I don't know yet.

Hello Bermarte!

That would be really nice!

Question: have you done modifications to the pixelbenderscript yourself to be able to render mandelboxes or is it an unreleased script by subblue, can't find it on his site...?
I have seen your experiments... ;)

Yes, I did it myself..but it's a 'port' based on Knighty's code.
It's available originally for ATI's GPU (RenderMonkey). I'm thinking to do a plain GLSL version for Xcode/Quartz-composer..I dunno yet if I can manage..it's something really new for me.
I did a 'port' for Tacitus as well; but maybe I prefer pxbndr.

I would to try with Cuda or play with a Cuda version..but Nvidia does not make things easy; they force us to buy new cards.

WOW, that's cool B!

Whish I could do that, have only made small changes to the mandelbulbscript myself...

I really do hope you do the Xcode version!!!
